My Story - Why I Built The AtlasOne Table
One day during a routine adjustment, something unexpected—and unacceptable—happened.

I was using my Lloyd table, only two years old, when the headpiece suddenly slammed down mid-adjustment. My patient flinched and asked, “Ow, was it supposed to do that?”
I was stunned.
The screws and sliding mechanism were already failing.
So, I did what most of us would—I tightened everything down even harder. Until one day, the main screw snapped, leaving the headpiece unusable and forcing me to special order a replacement.
But then it happened again.
Mid-adjustment, the headpiece collapsed.
That was my breaking point. I said, “Never again.”
I knew there had to be a better way.
So I went on a mission to find a skilled table engineer—easier said than done. I wanted to create something better: a durable, electric headpiece that wouldn't just solve this issue, but optimize the way we work as NUCCA doctors.
After all, I was adjusting my headpiece height 20–40 times per day. Why not make that process smoother, faster, more reliable while also preserving our hands and bodies?

Fast forward through three years of development, prototyping, and refinement—and today, I’m proud to introduce the AtlasOne.

Built by a NUCCA doctor, for NUCCA doctors, AtlasOne isn’t just a table—it’s a solution. It’s the table I always wished existed.
